Assignment not yet submitted

I am a little late this week....disappointing because I like the time element in the research design (temporal design).  I will submit soon....

Assignment submitted...

I submitted the assignment by the deadline. I thought it was very interesting (although my project was not well suited for the second part). The assignment needed a project with an experimental design.

Week 5 assignment in progress...

This week the focus is on factorial ANOVA & ANCOVA. These are new topics (not covered in Statistics I). This may be the reason the assignment is "lighter" this week.

I finished running the required tests/tables/charts in SPSS a short while ago. I am now moving on to the write-up. I should finish the assignment by the deadline.

Back online

After a few days away, I am now back online. I am about to start working on this week's assignment.

Work continues...

This week, internet access is a challenge. I am making it work (despite the constraint). On Thursday, I obtained access to SPSS and started working on the assignment. I stayed at my sister's for a while so I could run the tests. My sister and family are now on vacation in Pennsylvania so I had to come up with another solution.

I am now at Starbucks working on my assignment while sipping on a green tea frappuccino. I should finish by the deadline.

It is ANOVA week....reminds me of my signature assignment for the first statistics course.

I am at a Starbucks working on SPSS access. One option is to purchase SPSS for students. Another is to use the IBM monthly plan - $99 per month.  I could also sign up for a new trial period (using new email account/computer). I will come up with something.

Week 3 assignment submitted

I completed and submitted the assignment early this morning. I planned to (and wanted to) submit yesterday, but that did not work out. Yesterday, my birthday, I was out and about. I had lunch with family, went shopping, and so on. It was a good day!

The assignment was very interesting. For the SPSS part, I did some experimenting, which led to some surprising results....

Week 2 assignment completed and submitted

I completed and submitted the week 2 assignment by the deadline. The write-up took a while. One lesson learned: next time I will print the results beforehand so I scroll less (go back and forth to get a number, check for consistency with another section, and so on. The document is long.
